Welcome to the new learning resource from Dechra

Hyperthyroidism is the most common endocrine disorder in cats. Whilst the disease is generally simple to diagnose and treat, not all cases are straightforward and there are potentially serious complications that can occur.

Starting with the underlying anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, this course will cover various aspects of Feline Hyperthyroidism including common clinical signs, diagnostic tests and treatment options. In addition, there are detailed sections that discuss the unmasking of renal disease and the importance of monitoring treatment.

Supported by animations and photographs throughout, the course offers an easily accessible review of this condition for vets and vet nurses.
